War of the Worlds

very intense!
-this movie reminds me of some kind of twilight zone story only better. Ya know when the story was written they played it on the radio (cuz thats all they had back then) and the way the did it was a news broadcast and people actually thought it was real. i heard people actually killed themselves and some killed there whole family because they didn't want the aliens to get them. people are stupid....
-Tom Cruise was all right, im not a real big fan of his cuz hes a nut case and all... (Scientology? right....) but it was sad how much his kids really didn't like him and ya know at the end their relationship might have improved a little but not much... im sure he would go right back to being an ass.
-The graphics in the movie are awseome but what do you expect from steven spielberg, only the best. i think it would be interesting to see how Robby made it back to Boston... and then another question why are all the cities demolished yet Boston really didn't look that touched by it all...
-And then the whole point of the movie is just freakishly amazing, that all these aliens couldn't live on our plant because they don't have the immune systems like we do. Which sounds about right cuz when the explorers came to north america from europe they brought all these diseases and all the natives began to die. and yes i did notice that it was morgan freeman doing the narrating which kinda makes me sad he wasn't in the rest of the movie cuz he is a great actor.
-something my mom noticed is the aliens seemed to be based around the number 3. they had 3 little arm thingys and the tripod (3) and most of the time it seemed that they traveled in 3... interesting to think about
-several things were left unanswered by this movie. it was appearent that these tripods were put under the ground years before humans walked the earth how do you explain that? My brother asked what the aliens needed with the blood several possible answers for that, maybe thats what they used for fuel or as my dad said maybe thats what they drink. And what were those vines all over everything? and what was its purpose? Dad said there is no mention of that in the original story he aslso said that in the original the aliens came for our water, that they had lived on mars and used up all their water and came to take ours. hmmm i think that is any other life form came to take over our planet it would be because they had become to smart and over populated their planet and are now in need of more space but thats just me. The movie also said that the Japenese killed one of them was that true? and if so how did they do that? and again the Robby and Boston question. but i quess questions are good because the leave it to the viewers imagination to answer. which most of the time is amusing.
